“ Sakoon is low key Indian restaurant located in downtown Mountain View that features a broad menu and has lunch buffets for lunch. The lunch buffet is 20 MonFri and 23 for SatSun. Parking is easy in the lots behind the store They also have a broad range of drinks or cocktails not part of the buffet that you can order. They have some bomb butter chicken and fantastic fried fish and chicken 65. They also have dessert options and even complimentary chai tea ”

One could easily spend 26 on crap at Taco Bell or KFC and not have the value or quality of the rack of lamb. No other fancy restaurant has rack of lamb at this price. All the food was flavorful. They adjust the spiciness as you request. ”

The service is terrific, the ambience is cozy, and the food is absolutely delicious. This is some of the most aromatic stuff Ive had in recent history. All for a very reasonable price. The food alone would be worth five stars, but they really took care of us here too. The dishes are served family style at dinner, so everyone can try everything if thats your bag. Also, vegansvegetarians rejoice plenty of choices for you here. Cant wait to make it back for the lunch buffet. ”

“ Sakoon has been excellent for a long time with great service and a quiet place to eat. Their buffet has both veg and non veg dishes and lots of desert and appetizers. Quality was very good the one time I went. However I have been mainly for dinner. Their dishes have good flavor and nice sized portions. Drinks are strong. They have happy hour till 7 pm. The spinach Sham Savera kofta is very tasty. They have a good sized wine menu also. Parking is slightly difficult on Castro. I do wish they would change their menu since their dishes have not changed for some time. ”

A lunch buffet is a must try here with a very reasonable 25person. A wide variety of Veg and Non Veg served with delicious tasty items, ending with few choices of deserts. The ambience is just awesome and very comfortable with enjoying food with family and friends. The restroom are clean and well maintained. The public free parking is adjacent to the place. ”
